Import Video Files
Pavtube MXF Converter is an easy-to-use tool. It just takes several clicks to complete the conversion.
Basic workflow of Pavtube MXF Converter for Mac:
1. Click “Add Video” icon to load your source video files.
2. Click “Edit” button to edit the videos if necessary.
3. Click on “Format” bar to select output format.
4. Click "Convert" button
to edit the videos if necessary.

Import Source Videos
There are 3 ways loading source files to MXF Converter for Mac:
1. Load Video files from the “File Menu”. Select “Add Video” to import source video.
2. Use the “Add Video” button on toolbar to import source files.
3. Drag and drop video to “Getting Started” area.
File list and Control buttons
When an MXF file is loaded to MXF Converter for Mac, it appears in the file list.
The file list is composed of four columns: Name, Duration, Trimmed Length, and Destination File.
Check Box: Click to check/uncheck all items in file list.
Name: The name for each source file.
Duration: The original length of each file before conversion.
Trimmed Length: The length of trimmed clips.
Destination File: The name of the converted file. By default it is the same with the original file. If you’d like to specify a different name for output file, double-click it in Destination File column and type in your wanted file name.
The following control buttons under File List help you organize the imported video files.
Move Up: Move the selected file one line up.
Move Down: Move the selected file one line down.
Delete: Remove selected file from the file list.
Clear: Remove all the files from the file list.
Properties: View properties of selected task.
Preview and Snapshot
Double-click on a file to preview it. You are allowed to take snapshots when previewing the source file by clicking "Snapshoot" button . See how to set format for thumbnails in Configuration Option part. Click "Open folder" button to get the screenshots.
Play: Play or pause the video.
Stop: Quit previewing of the current playing file.
Snapshoot: Take screenshot of the image.
Open: Open the snapshot folder.
Output Control
Format bar: Choose output format for conversion.
Settings: Set advanced audio and video parameters like bitrate, frame rate, size, etc.
Output: The output file path.
Browse: Browse to specify destination folder.
Open: Open output folder that contains converted files.
Merge into one file: Combine selected files into one file.
Convert: Start conversion.
