There are multiple ways to set audio track and subtitle of wanted languages in Pavtube ByteCopy for Mac. And the software lets you to keep them as they were created and convert the audio streams and subtitles to more common formats to ensure correct playback when your media player does not support Blu-ray TrueHD 7.1 audio, DTS-MA 7.1 audio or SGS subtitle format.
You may choose to
a. Set audio language and subtitle by preference.
b. Select audio tracks and subtitles for entire disc/all Titles.
c. Select audio tracks and subtitles for single Title.
d. Select and transcode audio tracks and subtitles.
a. Set audio language and subtitle by preference.
Click “Tools” menu-> “Preference”-> “Audio” tab to set audio language by preference. Here you find English, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese, French, Deutsch, Norsk, Japanese language as well as “Others”. For instance, if you always want to keep English and French languages when ripping Blu-ray Discs and DVDs, check them and the next time you run Pavtube ByteCopy for Mac, English and French audio tracks will be selected by default.
Set desired subtitles under the “Subtitle” tab in the same way.
The settings will be applied to all future discs/movie files until user preference is reset.
b. Select audio tracks and subtitles for entire disc/all Titles.
When a DVD or Blu-ray movie is loaded to Pavtube ByteCopy for Mac, the contents are displayed as a tree structure. Click on the disc label (normally the movie name) to select the whole movie. When the movie is selected, “Edit Disc” button will be highlighted. Click the button, and select desired audio language and subtitles from popup window.
The settings work for all Titles in file list but for the current loading movie only.
c. Select audio tracks and subtitles Title by Title.
In file list you can select which titles to save and what tracks to keep in each title. Click the arrow sign to view details. Select audio track and subtitle by checking the check boxes. You may also find more info in method d if you’d like to further customize audio channels, codec and subtitle format for your media player.
d. Select and transcode audio tracks and subtitles.
Pavtube ByteCopy for Mac lets you down convert TrueHD and DTS-MA 7.1 audio to AC3/AAC/DTS 5.1 audio and Blu-ray SGS subtitle to DVDSUB for your player.
Just select a Title and click the “Edit Title” button to select and encode audio track streams and subtitle. The “Edit Title Streams” screen pops up with three tabs, Video tab, Audio tab and Subtitle tab. Switch to “Audio” tab to set audio streams. To select an audio stream, select its corresponding “Check” box. Check the “Encode” box if you’d like to transcode audio to a different codec/format. Available audio codecs includes AC3, AAC, DTS, MACM, MP3 and MP2. Set subtitles under “Subtitle” tab in the same way. Available subtitle format is restricted to DVDSUB, which works well on almost all the video DVD combos and HD media players.
