Pavtube ByteCopy for Mac software aims to provide considerate Blu-ray backup solutions for Mac fans. The elementary functionality is to convert the video clips from proprietary disc (Blu-ray Disc/DVD) into a set of MKV files, preserving most information but not changing it in any way. The MKV format can store multiple video/audio tracks with all meta-information and preserve chapters. There are many players that can play MKV files nearly on all platforms, so you may watch Blu-ray and DVD discs with your favorite player on your favorite OS or on your favorite device. No additional software is required for conversion.

In addition, Pavtube ByteCopy for Mac allows you to transcode video stream, audio track and subtitle stream separately for your requirements. You can keep original video quality and meanwhile convert the TrueHD audio to Dolby Digital 5.1 audio when/if your device does not support 7.1 channels, or shrink the BD contents to videos with lower bitrate to ensure they are played properly on a slow computer or older media player.
The software provides perfect backup solution for BD and DVD movie collectors- fast speed, full backup, lossless quality, multiple subtitles and audio streams, and easy of use. Converting a DVD Blu-ray Disc is a simple 3-step process. And you can make it a 2-step process by a bit more settings in preference.

Installation

System Requirements
Install & Uninstall

Pavtube ByteCopy for Mac is a clean and safe program with no plug-ins at all. You can easily install and uninstall the software. Before installing the software, please check the system requirements first. If you’re working with Mac Vista or above system, run as administrator before installing Find instructions for installing and uninstalling in the next page.

System Requirements

1G Hz or above Intel processor.
Mac OS X (including Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and v10.6 Snow Leopard ) on iMac, MacBook, Mac Pro, etc.
512 MB physical RAM (memory) or more.
1024*768 or higher resolution display.
Optical Drive: DVD drive(an external BD drive is required for ripping blu-ray disc)

Install & Uninstall

Before installing the application to your iMac, MacBook or Mac Pro, please check the system requirements and see if it will be compatible with your Mac. Please note that PowerPC processor is not supported. And you are suggested to close all the other programs before installing Pavtube ByteCopy for Mac.

Install
If you are using a trial version of Pavtube ByteCopy for Mac, and have purchased the retail version of the application, please remove the trial version from your Mac first and follow the below instructions to step through the installation and activation.

1.Download the retail version via the link we sent you via email. It should be a pgk file (bytecopymac_install.dmg).
2.Double click the dmg file,and it will start installing the app on your Mac OS.
3.When the installation completes, there will be a virtual disk named Pavtube ByteCopy for Mac on desktop. Open the virtual disk and you will find Pavtube ByteCopy for Mac,drag and drop it onto your desktop.
4.Double-click the icon to launch the utility. Now the main interface pops up with a registration box.
5.Copy and paste your registration code (key) into the box, then click ‘OK’. Notice: do not leave any space before the code.
6.The main interface shows up. Now right-click on the virtual disk and select ‘Eject’. Completed!

Now you can run the program from the desktop icon via double-click.

Uninstall

To remove Pavtube ByteCopy for Mac from your computer, just drag and drop it to trash.
