Apple sold 450,000 iPad in one week
Apple sold 450,000 iPad since last Saturday, said Thursday the PD-G Sunnyvale, California, Steve Jobs, during a press conference.
Within one week, Apple has already sold some 450,000 copies of its iPad Touch Pad, Steve Jobs said at a news conference the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, during which it was intended to introduce the new iPhone OS 4.0. The Apple brand has passed 300,000 iPad during the first day of marketing.
"Apple currently produces the tablet as soon as possible and the launch goes well, but obviously we’re not going fast enough. Apple will make more efforts." said Steve Jobs.
The iPad is already well out of stock in many stores in the United States. Overall, users have already downloaded 600,000 digitized books and 3.5 million applications. Some 3,500 applications iPad are available in the App Store.
Apple could sell nearly one million iPad Touch Tablet by the end of the year and five million by January 2011.
